Nikoleta,

there is a link in the article which you may click to apply. If you do not see any scholarship information email them via their contact webpage to see when it will be open to applying. Low funds determine from year to year if they will have these awards. Have you applied to grants? Have you sat down with the FinAids manager at your college to see what programs you're eligible for? This is a must for you to do NOW! What about work study programs? Government student loans without cosigners are also a very good last resort. Go also and read non traditional scholarships for moms.

Hello,
I am a single mother and a victim of domestic abuse. I have enrolled in college to get a degree so I can care for myself and my daughter. Please tell me how I can apply for the ROSE Scholarship or anyother resources that might help me. Thank you for your help.

[...] WISP, or the Womens Independence Scholarship Program, has excellent college scholarships for moms available. The organization hopes that these funds will empower women, enabling them to open doors to more opportunities for more women. However, it is important to note that the moms scholarships offered by WISP are for survivors of domestic abuse, and spousal or partner abuse is the only domestic abuse that applies in this situation. They are abuse scholarships. [...]
